Original political poster for the revolutionary ballet The White-Haired Girl (Chinese: 白毛女; pinyin: Bái Máo Nǚ), People’s Republic of China, c. 1970. First produced as an opera by Yan Jinxuan, The White-Hair Girl was later made into a ballet and a film.
