An original, in-store, promotional banner poster for Elswick bicycles, c.1935-1960. Formed in the 1900s, the Elswick Cycle Company took its name from Elswick, a suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne where it was based. It later merged with rival manufacturer Hopper & Co and moved production to Barton-upon-Humber. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
