An original London Transport bus panel poster from about 1970, advising passengers how to use the newly introduced ‘Split Entrance’ buses. Essentially, the passenger had the choice of either paying the driver, who issued a ticket and could give change, or using a self-service machine to pay the exact fare and collect a ticket.
