This is a proof version from the Curwen Press, hand dated ‘31/3/59’. Ballymoss (1954 – 1979) was an Irish thoroughbred racehorse. He ran in 17 races, winning 8 of them, including the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and the St Leger Stakes and held the record for the highest earnings of a British or Irish racehorse until 1963.
