The design includes an illustration of John Knox House located on the Royal Mile, Edinburgh, by the English artist Dennis Bishop. The text advertises return trips to the Scottish Capital from London, Northolt. BEA was initially based at RAF Northolt, but by 1954 all the company’s flights had moved to Heathrow airport.
