Original 1960s poster by the design duo John Astrop and Eric Hill, Dolly ABC, c. 1968. A none too subtle take on the different ‘types’ of young women to be found in the Swinging London of the late Sixties. This type of poster would have been sold in fashionable boutiques and counterculture stores. Both designers later pursued successful solo careers, with Eric Hill finding fame as an author and illustrator of children’s books (Spot the Dog, etc).
