A rare original poster promoting the Manchester University Students' Union publication Rag Rag, 1939. The annual magazine was first published in 1924 and sold by the Union to raise funds for local medical charities. The early issues were notable for their bright covers, adorned with an illustration which usually incorporated the snake (as here) from the University's coat of arms. A striking modernist design.
