An original, and very unusual, abstract poster calendar, Kalendarz, designed by the Swedish design duo Melin & Österlin, c. 1965. John Melin was a pioneer of graphic design. He often collaborated with the artist Anders Österlin, calling themselves Melin & Österlin (M&Ö). M&Ö made many high-profile advertising campaigns, catalogues and posters for Moderna Museet and other clients, especially in the 1960s. This design features a 12-month calendar with each day represented by a black silhouette or simplified drawing of an everyday object or symbol. Undoubtedly a rare item.
