An original news stand poster, How Politics has Changed, Private Eye, 2016. The poster was published in October 2016 at the time of the US elections and features the front cover of Private Eye magazine for that week. The design includes a reproduction of Shepard Fairey’s famous 2008 presidential election poster Hope (Barrack Obama), alongside an image of Donald Trump executed in the same style but entitled Grope (a reference to charges of inappropriate sexual behaviour levelled against Trump at the time). This copy was acquired directly from the offices of Private Eye in 2016 and varies in certain ways from the version used on news stands. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
