Have you ever wished you were better informed? (CND)
Peter KennardOriginal political poster, Have you ever wished you were better informed?, by Peter Kennard, 1983. Hand singed by the artist. One of Kennard’s most celebrated designs, the design depicts a human skeleton reading the British government publication Protect and Survive, which was intended to advise the public on how to protect themselves during a nuclear attack.
This image was originally used for one of eleven small format posters issued by the Greater London Council with the series title 'GLC Peace Posters Pack’, designed by Kennard with a foreword by E.P. Thompson. This particular example, however, has been issued in a larger format on behalf of Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND).
